Lynne Peskoe-Yang is a science and technology journalist and science-fiction writer based in New England. Her reporting on electrical and mechanical engineering, artificial intelligence, and disaster response technologies has appeared in MIT Tech Review, Vice, Popular Mechanics, Photonics Focus, Marketplace, IEEE Spectrum, Rewire, and Sludge; her opinion essays on science and technology are published at Popula and The Technoskeptic.

From 2019 to 2021, Lynne served as a Contributing Editor to TLT Magazine, a publication of the Society of Tribology and Lubrication Engineers trade association. Her articles in the magazine covered the fundamentals of lubrication physics and highlighted emerging technologies in manufacturing and lubrication science.

Lynne’s first science fiction story, about a lichen that triggers an apocalypse, is now available from Metaphorosis.
